Falmouth Christmas Parade 2024

The Codgers would like to thank all of those members who took part in the parade. Particularly noteworthy was the hard work of Tom Griffin and Frank Zuccarello for their efforts on December 4 (and again after the parade on December 5) for erecting and then disassembling the Codger "float". The day before the parade was fairly cold and, because of the complexity of the structure Tom devised, it took much of the day to nail and screw the structure together on Tom's pickup, as well as the trailer Tom towed behind the truck. Without a few members like them stepping up, our participation in the parade would not be possible. This is one way that our sponsors get recognition, which is important for league's continued success.
Tom took this over from Barry Beder several years ago and, despite various health challenges, approaches this with as much enthusiasm as ever. And without Frank's yeoman work this year, we would not have had the manpower to get it done. Thanks Tom and Frank!

Below are photos and a video of this year's participants setting up the float and parading..
