The Cape Codgers Senior Softball League offers an annual scholarship award(s) to a graduating high school senior who has played high school softball. The successful applicant must be a student athlete who has displayed joy and tenacity in playing the game; care and respect for teammates, coaches, and high school staff; and a commitment to doing their best in the classroom. The successful applicant should also demonstrate a record of community service, employment experience, and/or extracurricular activities during their high school years. Awards may be used to help students cover expenses related to college, trade school/vocational training, and/or additional costs related to military placement upon graduation.

On June 5th, The Cape Codgers awarded $1,000 scholarships to the three seniors to assist in their post-secondary education goals. Each successful applicant wrote thoughtful essays about why playing sports has positively impacted their lives on the playing field and in school. In addition to very impressive academic records each recipient contributed meaningfully to the Falmouth High School softball program during their 4 years at FHS. We look forward to following their next steps.
